I have just been WFP for two months now. The first month was hard , first cleans etc, but the second much easier. What I did notice was that a lot of the windows were still very clean and although nothing has been said yet I fear some of my customers are going to ask me "can you leave them this month as there not dirty". If this does happen its not a good way forward. So my question is to all you experienced WFP men what sort of reply would you give to any customer that does so.
ps I clean monthly and ofcourse the weather has been great lately... perhaps thats why they arent so dirty ? , look forward to any replys , cheers Ted

I tell them that the ides behind wfp is so they have clean windows all year round and not have dirty windows for a week or two whilst they would wait for you to come back round, tell them its more like maintenance now than cleaning them only when they're dirty

worry about when and IF they mention it.
I used to worry about going back too soon and getting a "not this time" but any I did I would put onto every other month however even then I still got a "not this time" so dropped em.
Then when I got behind on work I would have customers complaining that I was late so you cant win ;D

Carry some roller towel and pull a small sheet over the glass even a clean will leave dark smear on the towel.try it before you show a custy.

I actually encourage this with some of my customers and i put 20% on the price for a 2 monthly clean then replace as all the time u are increasing your hourly rate, your ideal round would be all 2 monthly if u think about it as they are pleased to see u and your getting more for doing the same clean, just dont make the mistake of letting your customers go bi monthly for the same price.

This will be very rare mate its possible custy was skint but ask if they are wanting to change frequency of clean and tell them they will be charged extra without giving a price straight away and see how they react they might get a shock at paying more and just ask you to continue as normal . Mike

did you agree a cleaning period with them i know its a f*** when they change there minds but if they do its classed as a minor builders clean as for 3 mthers irs a major so say £10 mthly, 8wkly is £15, 12 wkly is£25 and so on.

Tell them they pay you to keep the windows clean. Agree this when you sort out the price and frequency of clean.
If you don't live in your house for a month, you still have to pay your mortgage.

Most of mine are two monthly. Much better hourly rate, it just takes longer to build a full round. I much prefer that to be honest and so do customers.

I doubt they'll mention it or even notice.
Wor Lass cleans our windows; I never notice what the job is like. I suspect many of my customers are the same.
