Can anyone help me with the problem of wax candle which has got onto and into the pile of a carpet. The carpet is brand spanking new of a medium pile length of man made fibres. I have sent for a sample of a new product from premiere products called breakup which is predominantly for chewing gum removal but which they feel may work on wax. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Pete.

Hi
I use a Iron on low heat with kitchen cloth, which works very well.
PS Don,t burn the carpet.

Iron and a brown paper bag if no brown paper bag use lining paper works a treat easy to do just be carfull if it is not a full wool carpet.

and make sure your iron is on the lowest setting ::)

Hi
I would only recommend using an iron on a wool carpet.
If you melt a carpet it is to late :o why take the chance!!!! just use some thing like Eco spotter no risk!! much easyier to use than an iron anyway.

If there is a cleaning solution that will get it off that is the safest option.
Yes the Iron does need care.
