its just a standard housing, unscrew and swap.

dont you have one of the big spanners that come with it, they need some leverage

They just unscrew, give it a bit of muscle ya fairy :) ;) ;D

put it upside down in a work mate, pack it with some wood and dont over tighten.
then you should be able to get enough turning force on the housing.

You have to try and de-pressurise the system. They can be a right b*tch to undo.
But if you have the filter housing in the link I think the red button on top de-pressurises the housing.
Try pressing that and see how it goes.

I snapped my plastic one that came with the RO when I first tried to do a filter change!  ;D
I now use an oil filter wrench on it.
