A customer has just advised me that her insides have gone all milky since my last inside clean. I used pure spray and a combination of Ivan mops and microfiber.... For the last 2 months this has been fine but now the windows have gone all milky... Any ideas ?????
Cheers
Matt

what is an ivan mop?
and since when did the customer know how a window should be cleaned, it is your business, you tell her how it should be done

Clueless window cleaning technique?

you need to go take a look and see what she is on about, then explain it with a bit more detail, the sun is shinning and maybe the easy shine mops aren't up to it, no idea to be honest

What's wrong with cleaning with an applicator and squeegee?! Make sure excess water is drained with a sieve in the bucket then no water will drip anywhere.

Is it deff the inside of the glass and not the cavity? Ie the unit has gone/blown?

When a customer has a problem. Don`t panic first, go and see what the problem is first then come and ask advice. ??? ???
-
I will be the first to say it.
Dump ;D
only joking, can you explain in better detail what the problem is and how your cleaning them as I have never heard of milky insides, as the term milky comes from frames breaking down and then going onto glass (normally on the outside)

All this sunshine seems to be highlighting a number of problems.
My missus pointed out some marks on our bedroom window this morning, when we looked closesly they were on the inside of the outside pane, the glass must not have been cleaned properly before the double glazed unit was made. These windows have been in for 5 years and have only just noticed it ???
-
Pretty sure I know what you are describing and it is the sealed unit that has failed and causing a problem, this happens at my mums house when I clean her windows a couple of hours after cleaning they return to normal. It also happens first thing in the morning but once the sun gets on the glass it clears.

It sounds like her seals have 'gone' and moisture has gotten between the panes of glass in the sealed glazed unit. This isn't caused by window cleaning, but is wear and tear from the expansion and contraction of the window in the heat and the cold. It normally happens first on south facing windows.
Window cleaners sometimes get the blame! I lost an account recently due to this.
