Title: Van parts very expensive!!

Just had my Connect checked out because it was dying on me as I was driving along. Found out its a Accelorator pedal position sensor only available from Ford apparantly!!
Just phoned for a price and was told £110!! Ouch!!
I've never had one go before and wouldn't want to either!!

Anyone know any cheaper parts shops??

transitparts on ebay. he does some connect parts. you might get lucky

I had a LWB Connect and had nothing but trouble with it ,the best bit of advise is to get shot of it and gat a Vivaro like me ;D ;D

plenty of connects breaking . if a parts very pricey go buy secondhand.  probably pick one up for 20 quid tops

oh my god,now that REALLY is a p  isser

its made me remember,years back i knew a guy who had an insurance policy for car repairs, sure he had to pay out but it wasnt that much and it covered him for every repair and m.o.t repair .
  worth getting if you hav a modernish vehicle i reckon
