this g6 stuff may be great, but you wont have soft hands with it. Fairy is kind to mine and good for my complexion.

That's because and as the advert goes from years gone by: 'for hands that do dishes can be soft as your face with mild green fairy liquid'

Good old Fairy contains among other nice unlisted chemicals... silicone... which coats everything.

I use GG3 or is it GG4? I don't know which is which. The one I use is not the blue'ish one.

Fairy leaves loads of hidden bubbles behind on the glass.

With a new shop or commercial job, you can always tell if the previous window cleaner used washing up liquid. You mop the windows and all you see is thousands of tiny bubbles.

Good old Fairy, or any dish washing stuff, seems to do a good job untill you look at the glass sideways on to the sun then all you see is smears.

I have to admit that ecover is king of trad detergent.fairy is too sticky and leaves a film.ecover is much cheaper than gg3 with better slip.no residue.

Yes Ecover is very very good and as for you fairy boys what's up with you it's rubbish stuff ha ha.!.!.!what your doing here is looking at how much slip u have hand to glass  hence when you try something else u cant get on with it but Really u need to look at results..

5 litres water
35ml unger liquid
X1 teaspoon Ecover

Try it cause it rocks...

Absolutely agree. I am OCDish with regard to the results I expect, and because I get them by using Fairy, I see no reason to change a winning formula.  :)

It takes a few cleans with GG4, or GG3, and you'll find the bubbles from good old fairy keep appearing but after a while, no smears at all even when cleaning in direct sunshine.

Before anyone comments about wfp and all that stuff, I'm wfp now but I was trad for a good few years.
