Are they better quality now, as some were snapping a few weeks ago, thinking of ordering some on Monday
Cheers

if you mean the plastic super lite ones, then in my opinion....no
I have swapped mine for the 60 degree metal ones and i have had no trouble
-
Yeh im using metal fans now just don't like drilling a 12mm hole in my new sl dual trim, gardiners used to drill the holes but have stopped since they brought their fan jets out.
-
thats exactly what i did to exactly the same brush,12 mm bit, drill the existing hole and insert new jets it should not cause a problem
-
I ordered a pair of these about a month ago still going strong before that I went through 5 so maybe they have strengthened them.
-
i know its a bit sacralidge, but if you get an old vikan brush they are pretty thick, if you drill two holes into the plastic you can push /tap the fans right in so they dont petrude at all
-
Couldn't use a vikan brush now bud im used to superlite ;D.
Cheers for replies

Try using b&q cable tie mounts for your plastic gardiner jets there's a post on here if you search (cable tie mounts) I've never snapped one since there a 100% full proof and used daily.. Hope this helps!! Rob..!

just a two brand new brushes delivered with the new plastic jets took the first brush out of the bag and dropped it on the floor and one of the jets snapped straight off. now i know your not ment to dropped them but it would not have happened with the metal ones. and the way poles get knocked around in the backs of vans cant see them lasting long. a phone call is in on the cards to gardiners in the morning
