Title: Indian slate
Post by: Andrew Briscoe on March 23, 2012, 10:55:01 pm
Have a customer who has just moved into their new home, they want their kitchen floor stripped cleaned and re-sealed.
It looks like indian slate, and i am thinking i will strip it and clean it with Aqua mix products, just wondering which seal would be best, i have some sealers choice gold, but thought i may see if Kev has a better alternative.
Would of rang you Kev but didnt see job till after 5pm.
Oh, it has a Lithofin seal on it at the moment.

Andrew

Aqua Mix Enrich N Seal  for this job mate.  To demonstrate it to them cleanit first then when dry rub a little olive oil in and show them.  The olive oil will fade very quickly and clean off but the Enrich N Seal will keep it like it.

Karl

That's correct he asked for a solution and I gave him one!  Yes I recommended a product we sell because Aqua Mix and Aqua Seal are the only products we use and YES WE SELL THEM!!!

The alternative is you come on here and give him YOUR METHOD or solution to the problem and recommend something else and he then has freedom of choice.

We as a company only advise people on problems we have solved and to do that we tell them what products we use.

You have the opportunity to do the same!!!!

Finally Andrew Briscoe the original poster of this topic did our course in July 2010.  So I think by now he has had time to work out what works and what doesn't don't you???

I did state in my post it was after 5pm Fri when i viewed the job,
knowing most shut up shop at this time, i posted on here hoping Kev
might look in over the weekend, which he has.
This enabled me to price the job and get back to the customer.

Not really bothered which Tom Dick or Kevin i get my products from,
i just want to keep working and keep customers happy, i also wanted to know of an alternative to the product i have in stock, which Kev has reccomended.

thanks for the replies

Andrew.
