Gardiners used to tell you next to their O clips what size they were for i.e. pole hose, microbore etc etc.

If you read this Alex Gardiner would you consider doing this again please as i found it very helpful.
and I could of directed the OP your way...every little helps, especially now unger are bringing out a new pole...I bet your quaking in your boots  ;D

Cliff I use jubilee clips reuseable and easy to get hold off.

Also finding cable ties more and more handy for pole hose and stopping any leaks from back of brush, Y piece.

Ps. how's the round buiding up? ;)

We still do this. If you click on the image or the 'More...' text under the single ear, inner ring O clips it will open up a page that list the size that each clip fits.

17 - 20mm is the size that you will need. Most 1/2" reinforced hose is about 13mm ID and about 18mm OD.

Something wrong there. It should keep you topped up all week easy even if doing very little mileage. Trickle charge at weekend or when you get chance. Unless a combination of your running pump or pumps flat out or near to, and/or a crap battery.

Brand new 100 leisure battery was ok when i 1sf set it all up but ended up running flat or near to flat.i set it all up as per diagram but cant trust it now so gona charge battery over night untill i can get it checked out.

agree, I have twin batteries on one of my vans that works flat out 7 hours a day and never charge it. one of the batteries are either shagged or the slip relay isnt working correctly. 2 pumps 2 controllers are used on van and they get turned on when we start and off when finished at the end of the day. Think you can get a free battery check at some garages well worth a look maybe get it tested also. charging every night is not good, I remember that not in a great light (more so when you forgot to put it on charge. solve the problem don't mask it  ;)

I do very short journeys but relay works well, saves a lot of hassle.keep a small 17 amp in van just in case, got me out of trouble a few times, must be better than in and out of van every night.
