Darren may be a very smart cookie, he's certainly never going to be a rich cookie but he's having a go. Many industries are in a race to the bottom at the moment. I'm suprised we haven't been more affected by it than we have. But it has to come eventually, money is like water - it finds its own level. The taxi trade in many parts of the country is getting slaughtered by undercutting at a time when overheads are going through the roof.

I don't know where its all going to end. Theres always someone out there willing (or desperate enough) to do it cheaper (but £3?????)

He will get customers for that price but he will only be able to clean x amount of houses a day

While we will be able to build our businesses into multi van operations with the prices we all charge.

But i do think in the future prices won't be as good unless the job centre window cleaners get back to their original trades  :'( :'(

It might be some guy that normally earns £6 per hour so if he does three houses a hour that £9  per hour

But if that is the case he will soon realise that you can't run a business on £9 peh hr

He can if he declares absolutely buggar all.

Go to work, earn £70 a day, go home again. No tax, no insurance, no nothing. Drop of fuel in the car / van and he's smiling on £300+ per week in his hand.

If he's signing on too he's laughing.

I'm not saying it's right just saying how he can do it.

Quick way to build a round then canvass up some better customers at his leisure.
