Gutters and soffits are fine with pure water, for conservatory roofs, get a small garden sprayer that you pre treat the roof with, virosol is excellent for conny roofs, that way you don't need to put anything in your back pack.

Hehe,

I was going to ask the same question....

So, if the gutters need more than pure water to clean them as they are completely minging, can we put virosol in our backpack to reach the dizzy height of a gutter or do we need to use a separate backpack and keep one just for pure h2o.

Cheers, Gaz

Get a pump up garden sprayer, attach it to the top of your pole, and use this to pretreat the areas you want to clean.

We have used my son's backpack to do an initial wash with Virosol. Once that was put on then we flushed the backpack out with pure water and started washing as normal - no problems.

I have a hand pump sprayer by Hozelok that I use to presoak a conservatory roof which attaches to an old Unger Ali pole. Then wash and rinse with pure.

I always use a backpack with tap water/virosol mix,for upvc cleans.
I also have another brush i use for such cleans.
Flush pole out with pure for about 1 minute after and bobs your uncle
