Title: Leaflet Advice
Post by: lcwalker on March 20, 2012, 11:42:58 pm
Hi i had some leaflet made a while back, but im wondering whether i put enough on them i just put, window cleaning service, call us for a quality clean then my number. But i was looking in my local shop the other day and on ther board there was a window cleaning leaflet, that read.

Window  cleaning  services
  £...........
All window frames, window sills and doors will also be cleaned at no extra cost.
We can also clean conservatories, consevatory roofs,
soffits,facias and gutters if required.

And then his name and address and mobile phone number.

Is it worth putting all that on i have the WFP option as  i do some with that method is that worth adding to a leaflet, also we always do doors sill and frames free.Lastly is it worth leaving a gap for a price, like he has done thanks.

people that put price on a leaflet only attract the people that WANT TO pay that price, my advice would be advertise the benifits to the customer and what the value you offer, why limit yourself to price (this is a mistake people make day in day out when marketing) when they call sell your service to them. let others go for price shoppers, a business built on price shoppers is not a business model I would want to have only my opinion but so many moan because they are stuck and this is one of the reasons.

My advice is don't do it.

I go with Window Washers 100 %. His answer is spot on.Don`t isolate your chances but putting as price .What you want  from a leaflet is a opportunity to chat face to face the last thing you want is for the customer to decide they want or don`t want  your services with out having the opportunity to quote accurately.

I target certain properties with leaflets. I know how much I want from these prospective customers, and I put the price on the leaflet.
I t works very well for me. I have been doing this for 20 years.
once I have the monthly window cleaning, I then build trust which opens up other avenues of work.

professional window cleaning services

also
gutter clearance
conservatory roofs
fascia cleaning

I would not bother putting you offer both methods as you can explain that when they call.
the only reason for that leaflet is to get them to contact you, to much information can that

The normal response for leaflets is between 1 and 10% per 1,000. Most peeps put them straight in the bin, some people keep it for reference and some will call you. I've recently dropped 5,000 leaflets but so far only had 25 people call me. Main thing is the work Ive had so far has paid for printing and delivery so anymore I get will be a bonus!
