Oh dear,

Did you get it down ok ?

you need to be so careful doing this (as you now no)

I lost a section of the end, but never a section of pole  :o

How did this happen, please explain.

This happened over a year ago, but i have only just cracked uploading photos.

Well I had the wireless bullet cam taped to the vac head, and i was being a bit too conscientious poking right down into the down pipe and got it wedged in between pipe & overhanging tiles (the cam getting caught) so i was walking the pole left and then right trying to get a shallow enough angle to free it up.

In the process I managed to pull the c/f tubing away from the top section!! I tried putting section back in and wiggling again no joy...had to give it up!

Went back a week later tried again and got it out straight away, the terrential rain had washed the tape loose the pole came out but cam nowhere to be seen  ;D It would of obviously been nackered anyway.

You left a pole hanging out of the gutter for a week? What if it came loose and fell on top of someone

I would of been in trouble, that wasnt going anywhere without encouragement.

If it makes me look any less of a cowboy I was worried about it...does that count?

Yes modular push fit. and yes left it up there a week, as I said I did try I came back next day with my biggest ladders..didnt work was even thinking of getting a cherry picker to get it down but by the time I got back there again (3rd visit in the 7days) I managed to get it out again by putting the sections back together and lifting it out minus the camera. There was nothing I could do about it boys.

In the end I was thinking i would have to spend the money I got for the job on a cherry picker to get it down I wouldnt of left it there much longer.

I'm sure that would of gone along way if the pole done some serious damage. I wouldn't of been able to sleep at night leaving that sticking out of the gutter. If I couldn't of got it loose I would of hired a lift as you suggested to get the thing out
