have you seen how fast some people can trad. A LOT faster than wfp..... check you tube

I can trad quick enough but the point I am making is some wfp operators are far to slow
I will give you an example my brother used to sub out a wfp job out and 2 guys would take a day to do the outside of the building
me and my brother now do the same job wfp and then do the insides as well in under 6 hours

i would have thought even if you could trad faster on the bottoms, once you put all you WFP stuff away and got out you trad gear, you'd be slower.

yes I would agree with that, don't get me wrong I still trad many bottom windows but I know I shouldn't, it would be much quicker just to wfp the lot rather than mess about doing both

i ve seen this one guy on you tube do a conservatory faster than you could get your pipe and poles around the back of a house. and the guy who taught me did 4 shop windows in less than a couple of minutes doing it trad . he was that fast he entered a competition he didn't win but very close and he was 70 years old . upstairs is slower obviously

yes that would be wagga, but if you are dragging your hose round to do the tops then I can definitely wfp faster than that
I still do bungalows and bottom flats trad
-
you have to be on fairy dust to say you can wfp ground floor faster then trad i can trad very fast and do a perfect job and yes am very quick at wfp
-
When you say you can trad bottoms faster than wfp, does this include cleaning all frames & sills or just the glass
-
SOMETIMES TRAD IS QUICKER ON GROUND FLOOR!!example :some large plate glass windows that seem to take ages to rinse the dirt off the glass.if you have your BOAB on you and bottle on a belt its very easy to chop and change between wfp and trad.
also some ground floor windows in tight spaces its easier to trad rather than dragging a hose round getting it caught on everything and trying to make the angle with the pole.
i also often trad doors if their glass so customers are not walking onto a wet path esp if their elderly.makes all the difference to the customer.also quickly squeegeeing the downstairs sills and giving them a wipe looks good in the customers eyes.the personal touch so to speak.

its generally qucker to wfp all rather than tops wfp and trad bottom by the time
you have put your gear down and turned it off i would of finished thats on a
maintenance clean mind you.
i bet your one of those guys who waits for the drips to stop ;D
-
gary i go over the top sills with my brush a few times(water off)then i can start on the window directly underneath or to the side(where there is no window above!)i never stand around waiting!time is money!! ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D

sod that i never bother waste of time on a maintainence clean on my four weekly work
windows and sills are barely dirty in fact on the new builds i clean i dont even rinse unless
something major is on window. straight across tops no hanging around straight onto bottoms
they always come up spotless.
i dont know amateurs eh! ;D
