I changed one of mine over to a manual controller just incase this problem got any worse have 2 controllers in each van so if one fails other can be used.
another thing that can turn them off is the battery being run down but it should say Batt when that happens.

I had the same the other day. Turns out it was a dodgy connection on battery..(terminal was furry!)

Do you use scotchlok connectors? If so rip every single one out of your system and use crimp connectors. Scotchlok are notorious for giving problems. Could be just a oxidised ground as well.

Which Type digital controller is it?
It may be a battery charge issue as the current digital controls out there will shut down if less than 11V or 10.5V ( depending on which control) is detected at the controller.
Also check all the connectors and for any poor or broken connectors/cable.
