no blythe bridge mate, i couldnt believe it how can they make any money working like this, they wont do many round there cuz aint seen them before,i reckon it £50 each a day type lads
-
on the very big houses i reckon it makes sense,if you have a days worth you could breeze thru them
50 quid a day isnt bad ,specially if they hav an evening job

Thing is with these 'ladder squads'I would hazzard a guess they aren't insured, given what it costs for employers insurance these days.

Ks cleaning.... Dont tar them all with the same brush.... Some of the teams are legit, and some arent... Same in most occupations I guess

Ok,I won't tar them all with the same brush, the LARGE MAJORITY of 'ladder squads' will not be fully insured,IMO

I have picked up quite a few custys because they didn't like a bunch of people doing their windows.

Thers a guy near me who for a few years just sat in car whilst his 4 polish lads did the work
2 weeks ago they walked out and set up on their own ... the english guy has packed in and posted letters to all his customers telling them to find another windie but not to use the polish lads.
This was in Flint North Wales which I dont cover but may be of interest to Mr Gav Camm ;D

deffo agree here, i'm a trad with my ladder but i have all the correct insurances in place and am paying all my tax and NI like anyone with a wfp system... granted i wish i was them and had a wfp system but being a fairly new starter i'm not in a position to be able to buy one yet, i'm working bloody hard towards it though

You have picked me up wrong,I was talking about ladder squads(multiple employees...or doleys as is often the case)
