Title: What is the best portable you can buy?
Post by: Dan Williams on January 06, 2006, 07:51:32 pm
I have just started a carpet cleaning company and I am using a karcher puzzi 100.  I want to buy a real portable machine and I have got 1500 to 2000 pounds to spend?
my vehicle is a vauxhall combo van.

I started about a year ago and bought an Alltec Aqua 40 plus which funnily enough is up for sale on ebay and on here, This is a good start up machine and is for sale as a complete package including marketing which is worth its weight in gold on its own.

If you want to talk some more look at my website and give me a call.

Portables are like cars everyone is different and everyone likes theirs for different reasons.
Same for women aswell i think.

Cheers

Obtain and carefully study the published specifications of the machines.  Plenty of water-lift (vacuum) and sustained air-flow rate are important (a bit like the voltage-current features of a battery . . . if you're electrically minded), along with pump pressure in psi.  Also, take the general robustness of the machine seriously, since they take a fair bit of impact from time to time.

Oh, and don't forget the manufacturer's back-up service/maintenance and location etc.

Hope this helps you decide.
