Dear Sir
BRIGHT AND NEW LOOKING CARPETS FOR SPRING
Whenever a customer walks into your pub the carpets can either help increase your sales or help turn people off.
Many licensees have found that having there carpets cleaned does two things:-
First Passing trade tends to increase. A clean pub not only feels more comfortable for regular customers. It also attracts more new clientele.
Second The useful Life of the carpet is extended. Deep cleaning means that the carpets last longer. And in better condition.
Being specialist carpet and upholstery cleaners, we are skilled in cleaning and restoring both neglected and nearly new carpets.
We can make old carpets look like new
We can even breathe new life into old looking carpets. All at a price which is a lot less than you think.
I will ring you in a day or so to see if you would like a free no obligation quotation.
Or alternatively, you may simply ring us now to make arrangements for a free inspection.
We guarantee good results
You could be very pleasantly surprised by the benefits you and your staff experience.
I look forward to seeing you and being of service to you soon.
Yours sincerely ,

Been down the road of sending letters to pubs, a hard nut to crack!
You will find some are independent but most are owned by a group and there local management don’t have a say in anything and bin the letter! Also they change hands very quickly; Financial Mail on Sunday is a good starting point!
What I suggest! Is that you visit your targeted pray to find out the lay of the land so to speak!
I see a few of my blue chip clients are having a hard time! What’s the betting cleaning get the chop!! :(

Also add,
The first clean can be Blended, thereafter if you have me back, it will have to be Single Malt!!.

Letters are ok but there is no substitute for putting a suit on and going in the pub and selling your service personnally. Remember sell yourself first your product second

Thanks Gort
Ive had no success with letters, I think a change in stratagy is required, I believe the best way si to find out the details of the manager send one directly to him and find out who the brewery is and mail them too again too who ever it concerns at the brewers, short of that cold calling seems to be the best way, drop in and quote them then and there.

how about just sending a quote, with a letter
you could do this with pubs, resturaunts, shops etc.
somthing along the lines of.
to whom it may concern,
hi there my name is xxxx and i am the proprietor of xxxx
firstly please dont take offence at this letter as that is not the nature in wich it was written.
however on a recent trip to your establishment purely of a personal nature, i couldnt help but notice, that in my humble opinion your carpets didnt seem to be reflecting your upmarket image in the best possible way.
please dont think im insulting the way your establishment looks its just i belive i could help you create a better image to your customers wich may result in more passing trade for you.
i have taken the liberty of preparing a quote for you just so you can see how little it would cost to get them back in tip top condition.
i have prepared this quote assuming the work will have to take place outside of office hours.
if this is not the case please let me know and im sure it can be done even cheaper.
it would need a bit of work but it could work.
what do you think?
