Its the angle of it aswell that makes it so good.I always used to use a plastic angle adapter because i thought i "needed" to be able to change the angle for certain windows. But i have found with the carbon goose neck that the angle is spot on for about everything - this includes when you have the pole nearly horizontal.

thanks for the advice guys.  i;m gonna get a couple then.  for my reg pole then am i right thinking the 10" is the one to get, but for my 35' SLX would you get the same size or a longer one?

thanks again

The 10 inch is a good size, you'd only need to get bigger if you had properties with very deep sills. Effectively you only need to buy one even if you have 2 poles, because the goosenecks are quick release, however I would recommend getting one with an extreme brush and one with a radias sill.

The best thing about these goosenecks is the weight, you can't overemphasis how important lightness is at the topof the pole.

Simon.
