Title: long reach soap sprayer
Post by: Llaaww on March 12, 2012, 06:39:34 pm
Well if you go to gardiners it is best to stick to the plan. It is one thing looking at the stuff on the net, but seeing it up close is a whole different ball game.

I was near St Austel today, so I thought I would pick up a couple of rectus fittings that I have wanted for a while, I came away with the rectus as well as an slx-22 and brush, some connectors and a butt plug for my slx-30. ( I forget to pick up some glue for my clx-14 which came unstuck a while back)

On the upside, I was able to finish prototype#2, long reach soap dispenser.

here is a couple of pics.

I couldnt work out how to get the hose inside the pole, as well as having the trigger on the pole, so I could use it with both hands on the pole. The pole hose is the right length so that when the thing is extended the trigger will slot  inside the bigger section. There is enough flex in the fibre glass to grip the sides of the trigger.

Once it is up there is an extension hose, which means I don't have to carry the bottle about too much. Also, I put a rectus tail on the original hozelok trigger, so it can still be used as well.

What do you think??
