Title: Scissor lift/cherry picker
Post by: petski2 on March 12, 2012, 02:40:43 pm
Hi all,do I actually need a license or proof of training to use one of the above?
It is literally for half a days work inside.
I know there are all sorts of courses IPAF etc etc,but is it law that I have to have these qualifications?
Thanks

You only need a licence to drive it , not to work in one

Also good practice to have someone on the
Ground that can get u down in an emergency,
Thou don't have to be ipaf trained but know
How to get u down safely

you "drive it" from the basket so you need someone in the basket that is trained depends where you hire from a lot of people wont ask to see and depends where your working some site managers wont ask.

at the end of the day is it worth taking the risk
