A lot of people say they cant find a good rust remover product but I have used Extracta's Rust remover and works every time.

You must rinse out with an acid rinse afterwards as it will bleach if left.

Extracta - 0191 4825005

Rust remover is a misnomer, the rust is not removed but the colour is changed in the application, the rust itself remains which of course means if the job is not done properly the mark can return.

Prochems is good and has a ph of 2.5, after application flush out with a plain water rinse.

(I think Phil means rinse out the acid not use an acidic rinse, at least I think thats what he means ;D)

Oh dear, I have always rinsed out with an acidic rinse, is this wrong then? :-[
Never had a problem, but will use just water from now on.

Is that the best Chelski badge you could find? ;)

Phil,

Rust erasers are generally phosphoric acid so really you would want an alkali rinse but water will do.

Cheers

I agrree with Vernon.  Tried two other makes but Stapro worked best for me.

Have not tried Extracta as I have never dealt with them and carriage charge would be high to try out  one product.
