i would of said get the slx35 and remove bottom two sections that would give you a slx27(approx) and when required replace the bottom sections

I do that on my 4 year old slx 30 - use it as a 20 all day long and add the bottom two as needed.

And my SLX 22 which I use as an 18 (never put the top section on as we use the SLX30) where needed.

If you've sorted the clamps on your ionics pole and it's working ok why bother??
Wait till you need to replace

I've got a 28 ft grafter which works ok but I'm also thinking of replacing it sooner rather than later. It's a question of when the next problem with it will happen.

There's nothing worse than being set for a good days work, and your wfp pole has yet another problem.

Ionics - are you reading this post? Your Grafter poles are .....................

i find the 36ft grafter plus is not a bad pole but its set up for the taller window windows with a goose neck and tend to use a small pole for everyday working . suits me better. but the smaller pole is a 18 ft cheapy and started to split and fancy a gardiners ive heard they are the best so i want to order one . 25ft or 18ft  ??? mark did you have a good holiday ???

If you only want to be using one pole for 99.9% of domestic work then get the 25ft SLX.
Light enough to use all day every day.

Agree.

I've used an SLX25 for my every day pole since the day they came out (must be 4 years or so now). Does 99% of my work & gets some right abuse! ;D  I had the original MKI & replaced it last year with another of the same (slx25).

Light & thin enough to use for everything from ground to 30ft. I use mine with Xtreme brushes & Swivel resi-necks- beautiful combination! ;)

that's nice to know, just ordered me a slx25, had the xTel 18 for past 2 years, wanted something abit bigger, but nothing too heavy on my weedy arms. plus Gardiners poles close down nice and small to fit in van.  with pole and couple bits and pieces set me back 400 notes tho :S

But you lot on here are always raving about these slx's, so let's see!
