Title: pencil jets by mistake
Post by: bad trippy on March 08, 2012, 11:08:01 pm
Put a brush with pencils on me pole today by mistake.
Didnt notice until i started to wash the glass.
My goodness, shocking, aint used pencils for over a year, and today i was reminded why.
Long live fan jets

I had to use pencils today because my battery was going flat and the pump kept cutting out, so I stuck a brush with pencil jets on I could lower the pump speed and stop it cutting out, they are horrible, fan jets all the way.

They are only messy if you take the brush off the glass.

I prefer the larger area that the fan jet covers.

Nothing wrong with pencil jets as I use them as well as fan jets infact I have a brush with one pencil jet and one fan jet in it and them work fine together.

with fan jets its better to rinse on the glass.

 ;D ;D

I've never tried fan jets, so do you use more water with them?

fan jest are the best ever, as a trial i drilled two whole in one of those vikan brushes and because of the thickness of the brush i was able to push them right in, i had the idea of changing between pensils  and fans, since the day i fitted them i have only used the fans, and thats saying something because i have some very nice gardners brushes but am using a vikan instead :-)

it goes without saying the next brush i buy for gardiners will be fitted with the fans

Messy - blasting water everywhere, pencils you can direct where your spraying. Fans just have a massive spray area.

I did kind of like them when i used them but i went back to pencils...would be interested to try new gardiner ones tho.
