Alltec's getting in a re-dying woman from the states in April I think.
Anyone attending?
Does anyone here offer this service already?
Is it a winner or spare change?

Alan,
You appear to be making loads of dosh, you can afford it. ;D ;D ;D
I asked this question once about dyeing carpets as when Rainbow started out that was their gimic.
I do not think there was much natural demand.
My new Catch Phrase is Niche Marketing, (read on the internet)
So I if you can find out who is likely to need this service, and prepared to pay a Premimum Price, and you can obtain Excellent Results you could have a Specialist Division and carry out work throughout the UK.
But once a lot of people know how to do it you cold be down to the odd job every know and then

Hi All
I tried to get on this course last year and it was all booked up!
I did get to go to a semiar with this "Woman from the states" sorry can think of her name, and is was very good she knows her bacon, and is teaching IICRC subjects back in the states, I told myself next time she is over I will go.

Hi Alan
I have just got of the phone with Alltec who inform that there no course booked as of yet, but they do hope to have one in the summertime.

People I know who trained up for this now tend to resort to re-tufting. The re-dying is intended for stain repair rather than wholesale re-colouring of the carpet. Can be hitty missy getting a colour match. Not that much demand and very difficult to get any insurance work.
