I use the set as them and there very good and safe never had a problem with mine

Not sure want you mean Erith?
The 3 points of contact is a general rule that when using a ladder you should maintain at least 3 points of contact at all times.
eg. 2 feet and one hand hold while working

We use these and simply hire them in as reqd £30 a time (add onto cost)... only problem that we find with them is con needs to be high in order to get correct ladder angle, Find platform works 90% of time hands free ;D

Not having a go, but tell me whats more important the H & S, if the answer is family, well H & S will help you still be there for them, its worth the time

True, and another contentious point, the so called conservatory ladder on the picture at the top, on my sons NVQ training, they were told that , i am trying to get the word right, there is no system for grading them, or no testing to see if with individual on them , wont come through the roof,

sometimes i have to pole a conny roof from half way up a ladder if roof is up against a fence for example.dont know how legal it is!but it gets the job done!! ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D

At the end of the day yes i got the three points of contact wrong but i still think that using one or two suction pads is a good idea for when you need to use a ladder for work :)
