I have submitted a tender for quite a few flats and residential care homes, that are to be done quarterly, some in and outs, gutter clearing ect. I'm not holding my breath on getting the work, but it got me thinking of how others price for commercial jobs? Do you price on a reduced hourly/daily rate or a reduced per window rate, compared to domestic?

Reduced rate? No why would you?
If anything I tend to increase my rates to factor in 30+ day payments and the non zero risk factor of not getting paid.

I look at com work different now, after not getting a fare few
I've priced I've started looking at how long it would
Take and put my hourly rate on, as apossed to price per window
and getting them all now. £30 per hour and then round it up to the
nearest hour, so if I think I can do a job in 90 mind I'll round it up to 2 hrs
= £60
I've found that although this is working and on some jobs hittin£40 ph
I'm sure I could of had more on the job.
But I'm pretty new to this so it's a learning curve for me mate
