Nice pair of combats in blue or black, or a tidy pair of jeans
-
I wear navy umbro track bottoms navy, i hate anything with belts like combats, jeans etc.
Elastic drawstring waist is more forgiving on the belly ;D
I now wear navy army jumpers or maybe their navy, navy jumpers, one with patches on shoulders and elbows and leppets on shoulders and steel toe cap black boots.
Try to model myself on army style as smart but pratical.

Get some dickies red hawk trousers, the have a few pockets and are cheap
-
If you're gonna be a Trad window cleaner probably best if you wear a stripey top and trousers or orange jump suit. :-X
-
joggers that are 60% cotton are best in my experience ,long lasting , and dont sweat. they are hard to find(most are 100% synthetic crap ) but sometimes charity shops have them
"regatta" use 60% cotton/40 nylon and elastic waist in their range , very few other makers use 60%cotton

combat style trousers(black or blue)and embroidered polo shirts.a fleece and goretex jacket and boots.cheap rubber gloves with glove liners and a cap for when working in the rain.
i find the craghoppers combats the best.they are about £20 a pair from TKMAXX.showerproof as well.combats are ideal as the extra pockets come in handy for smartphone, keys, wallet, tickets etc esp in summer when ive just got a polo shirt on. ;) ;D ;D

if your trad only then a shellsuit is best coupled with a baseball cap and reebok trainers to complete the look.you should pick up plenty of work and be comfortable too.not waterproof but a quick pint in a local pub at the first sign of rain should keep you dry.then if you decide to go on a bender for the rest of the day you can leave the corsa in the pub car park(you wont have a choice as the landlord will take your keys off you!).
shellsuit good for sleeping in as well.whether its in ya corsa,in a hedge or some strange womans bed!! :D :D ;D ;D

i can wear combat type stuff when poling but not on ladders
i tend to wear black tracksuit bottoms so they didnt look to chavvy and a polo shirt
and trainers
now poling wear the dickies combats and blue t shirt/polo
gonna get some stuff embroidered soon to
foot wear - just trainers still no need for anything heavy so you can move about easier :)

I wear Dickies work trousers (last for years @£12 a pair) along with Printed Polo Shirts, Printed Sweatshirts and in winter Printed waterproof Jacket even a Printed baseball cap. Uniform from head to foot, if you want to run a professional business then you have to look the part!
If I were a potential customer and a windy came down my path in full Chav uniform, Hoodies, Trackie Bottoms and trainers there is no way I would allow him on my property whilst I'm out.
Its all about image and professionalism. You only get one chance at a first image!
Act the part, look the part and the work will follow......

There trousers in the winter shorts in the summer
-
Proper combats that are nice and thornproof.
-
Durakit workwear, fairly water resistant, hard wearing, loads of pockets. wash well, think I paid around £18 for the trousers, bit less for the body warmer
-
