Title: NEW JOB FROM VAN
Post by: KINGAKNAA on March 03, 2012, 08:27:53 am
Was parked outside shop getting sarny for lunch on Wednesday. Employee from management company sees my van and takes details. Later that day I get an enquiry through website, I quote, quote accepted, job done yesterday. This may also lead onto a bigger job they have!  ;)

Not sure about everyone else but work seems to be picking up.   8) Also the sun came out... 8)

I can see how you goot the job looking at the prices you charge on your website seems really cheap add on £3 for conserv & £8 for detached house what did you price up for this job £25 lol !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Replies like that are the reason so few long term posters are on here any more.

Well done - great job and glad there's more in the pipeline.

This is such a helpful post well done ;). You prove that there are still helpful posters on this site, not the sort of idiots that knock others and criticise them.

Thanks for the positive replies. Thats actually a test pricing structure I added to the website recently while trying to sort out the change at microsoft business. We cant all charge £25 a house!

As it happens I priced it very well. It took 2 hours first clean by the way.

Hopefully more work like this to come.

Cheers

well done mate looks a good job to do!! ;) ;D ;D ;D

ive picked up a few jobs here and there from signage on the van.although i use van magnets as when i come to sell my van i just have to take them off with no marks left on the paintwork.

i designed them myself from signbuilders.

what do you guys do when you come to sell the van with loads of signwriting on?i see loads of second hand vans with the outline of their previous owners writing on even though theyve took their writing off?? ??? ???

T cut takes em out, but usually no one can be bothered to do it.

Signed van is the way to go. picked up lots of work through it, like you say free advertising. Only cost me £120 3 sides. Brought in much more money than it cost.  8)....even at £8 a detached house... ::)

T cut gets the lines off, the lettering can be taken off with a heat gun.
