Hi Everyone
Between now and July we are going to be registering around 200 learners for a mixture of QCF Level 1 and Level 2 Qualifications.
Currently we have only delivered Level 2 but we are working on a Level 1 qualification to be aimed more at domestic window cleaners and we will shortly update the types of training included.
As part of our marketing campaign we are going to run a referral scheme for past learners/companies.
Any past learner/company that recommends our course to another window cleaner who fully registers will be entered into a prize draw to win a selection of 3 Gardiner poles.
The question is 'What 3 poles would you select as a window cleaner'?
We have looked at putting together a variety bundle which will give people a small, medium and larger pole; we just need your input into the 3 poles we select.
Thanks in advance
David

My advice would be a 22clx a 30slx and a 40smax. Should cover 99% of houses.

27 clx, 35 slx and the super max 45' for domestics change to SL2 if commercial

Hi guys, thanks for the input so far
TBH I was anticipating more of a response, especially due to the fact so many people talk about gardiners on here!
Could anyone else have an input?....
It will be greatly appreciated
Thanks

I think (you'll have to confirm) that the Xtreme 25 has mid-way clamping points now on all sections. It has shorter sections than the SLX to start with & is much lighter & more rigid than the SLX- it is literally like using a pencil to clean with! :)

CLX 22

that'll do everything in domestics
something bigger if you want to cover commercial too

for most of us 1 pole is all we need.
ive been using a 25ft SLX for 12 months and it reachs all my domestic and commercial jobs.i am finding a few skylights that i cant reach plus more and more customers are getting solar panels though.
so ill be investing in a 35ft SLX soon.that will be my lot as personally im not interested in cleaning windows above 40 ft.
its over £500 for a 35ft SLX so ill be actively canvassing for bigger jobs and solar panel cleaning to justify the cost.
ive never tried an extreme.in a few years i might try the 25ft version but at the moment the SLX is king of poles!!!
i was thinking of getting brodex 36ft hydra but they are heavy and nearly 7ft(closed length!)so it wouldnt fit in my van!! :( :(

For my work i need only 1 pole - 25 xtreme with extension.Extension stays off 95% of the time,i just put it on when needed.Incredibly light and rigid! The one i have has the halfway adjustment on the 5th section - very handy but would be good to have one on first section aswell.

So how does the fifth section attach?
-
The 25 has 5 sections and you can add the sixth when you need it or just keep it on all the time. You disconnect gooseneck from pole hose, pull out the hose from pole then take off the end cap. Then slide the extra section onto the pole, put the hose back in pole and connect back to gooseneck.Takes about a minute i guess.I only do this though about twice a month as the 25 reaches nearly all my work comfortably.

I have three, clx 14 an 18, as well as a slx-30.
They work well for me. The 18 and 14 get most use, I have room for another one so I think it will be a 22.
