Post by: bad trippy on February 29, 2012, 10:33:50 pm
Then i dawned on me today, just how many times a day i step on my pole hose whilst in motion.
Im think, im gonna be swithing on off on off accidently, dozens of times a day.
I would like some feed back by ppl who use the aqua dapter please

I tried one the other day with mickwc and think they are really good and well worth the money....

But I dont use them everyday so just my humble opinion...

I love mine,I hate using a tap or kinking the hose, some make issues with the added weight, but the benefits outweighs this,as for standing on the hose, I have never tuned mine on or off doing this, but that is t to say you won't

I have been using the mk3 for the last few days on my slx25 with extreme brush, first few houses I hated it due to the extra weight it also increases the closed length of the pole a bit so that took me a bit of getting used too aswell, after a few days though i wouldn't be without it!

I 'm definitely saving a lot more water and its so much less hassle kinking the hose and bending over to turn hose tap off, it makes my day go a lot better!

get one!they are the best pole tap IMO.makes me very fast when wfpoling and saves water too.top bit of kit.i do occasionally stand on pole hose and turn it on accidently but its only about once a week!!also i snag the pole hose and turn it on again about once a week!still wouldnt be without one now!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

very well worth it - the only time it's accidentally operated is usually returning to the van and the pole hose gets snagged
if i carry the pole then it's not a problem.

if only my operator had used the AD instead of stepping on the hose the other day as the custy came to the door - as she paid him he took his foot off the hose and WHAM! water straight in the kisser  ::)

i have a feeling she may cancel  :-\

save water ok but why are you going faster with it?

yep faster cleaning as you can use a higher flow rate which in turn shortens the time on the glass - it's also easy to 'dry' wipe the sill removing excess water so less dripping to lower windows - so lesss waiting for the drips to stop

Seems they are not far from me (about 12-15miles) so could always pop over :)

Get one!!!

I have these on all our poles, wouldn't be without them now, forget weight, extra length, once its on your pole after a day or so you'll love it!!

do agree then can make you faster, flow rate on high, turning off between windows.

i've got the mk2's they are on offer at the moment.

If you get one get the mk3, it's lighter and easier to attach to the pole.

i have the mark 2 and its great, you cant notice the weight on a clx and treading on your pole hose isnt a problem you have to give it a nice firm pull to opperete you wouldnt do it by accident, you wont regret buying one

Good point there Darren, never thought of higher flow as i don't like too high as i'm a trolley boy.

What brush are you using Darren?

I think you rinse on the glass if i remember.

Thanks Lee

Anyone who is switherin whether to buy  the aqua-dapter should bite the bullet and get one,if you are not happy with it you will get a refund,I would think that around 99% of people who use it like it,the knockers/doubters are usually the ones who havny even tried it.

Ive tried it, used one for several months.
It does make turning water on/off easy,
But i found the extra weight and extra closed lenght, after spend lots of money on lightweight short poles, defeated the objective, so i sold it on ebay.

for those that use the aqua adapter,do you have to change the pole hose for aqua adapters hose,i have a slx 35  do i have to change the complete length or is it ok to push it into the push fit connection on the pole hose

You can use other hose, some do pull out of the push fit connectors, but you can buy a small insert to push in the end of the hose that will stop if pulling out of the push fit fitting.

Hi Bob,

We just recommend enough of our hose sticking out of the end of the pole to grab and pull; because it's low-stretch you get a more positive action on the Aqua-dapter, and it's very durable to withstand pulling on the hose thousands of times.  It's 8mm OD, 5.5mm so you can also connect to another pole hose.

Standard length of hose included in the bundle is 8m, we have a few 10m coils left, or you can just add extra metres to a specific length (e.g. you might want about 37-40ft).

We have the tube strengthening inserts Lee mentioned.

Give us a call if you'd like to discuss.

Paul
