Title: Pole hose repair

Sprung a leak today :D

split in pole hose, just put some of the poxy resin  ;D on

will that hold guys anyone repaired hole in pole hose before? got none spare, will order.

Any tips.

soaked my trouser legs today as water squirted out of bottom of pole hose.

Cut the hose and use the inline repair plastic pieces....

Pole hose is so cheap that you ought to have a good load of metres spare in your van at all times along with all the other spares you can afford.

They are little plastic inline repair pieces, can buy them online and b and q sell them if you need a quick fix...

Any good aquatics shop will have both hose and spares. :)

Forgot about the aquatics shops, thats a good shout...

They dead handy to have in the van as an instant repair...

If you just need a temporary repair to get you through the rest of the day a few turns of insulating tape will do the trick.

Thanks Ian have some ptfe tape, next time i spring a leak, will do a couple of turns topped of with some gaffer or electrical tape.

Will top up on the spares got quite a few, but not for that  ;D

tried my idea no  good :(

Robbed pole hose off bigger pole today ;)

My gardiners delivery showed up today 50m pole hose £15 + my other goodies swivel resi neck with lever up down and scaper for brush.

I'l be ready next time ;D
