Do you need electricity to run pure water set up in garage ?
And is it economically viable to make pure water direct in van set up either over night or on site. As i do not have acess to electric where van is parked at night.I presume quantity of water required might be an issue in van set up.
Thanks

A 12v battery is all that is required to operate the pump which transfers water to your pole. Filling a pure water system only requires a hose pipe with sufficient pressure from an outside tap.

Producing pure water using mains pressure will vary according to the pressure you have. RO's will work at pressures as low as 30psi, but they will be slow and the rejection rate (meaning how much contamination they will remove) will be lower. The higher the pressure, the better the RO will work, up to a maximum of about 100psi for most makes. Best advice is get your RO and see how long it takes to make enough water for a day's work, if it isn't fast enough you can always add a booster pump but for that you will need an electricity supply.
