Title: Round for sale x Monthly Value?
Post by: Granny on February 29, 2012, 12:44:36 pm
Hi
Just wondering what the "average" monthly multiple is for a round for sale if there is such a thing.
For example I have been looking at one for sale North East

Type: Domestic
Monthly Avg Value : £1,650
Established For: 3 years
Asking Price : £16,500 o.n.o
I make that 10 x the monthly value.
Seems a bit high to me but there again as a newbie what do I know !!!!!

is it just a round, no van or equipment included.
most rounds seem to go for between 3 and 5 times.

Speaking to someone last night about this...

The general answer was that if you are selling a round (JUST customers) then 6x monthly value is good.

I wouldnt bother with 10x! but thats just me

A round is worth whatever a person is willing to pay for it.

I paid double for mine.
I sold a round for double the value also.
Both times to people I knew and trusted.

Depends. There are plenty that go for sale and sell for 2-4 months, but let's be honest, if it was that good, would you sell it for that much?
