Title: Training videos....
Post by: Stu on January 29, 2004, 11:30:00 am
At Accrington & Rossendale college we do a basic carpet maintenance course covering all the basic methods, pitfalls etc. We have up til now used the BICSc COPC raising the standards video which has just been updated but without any carpet techniques included.

I am therefore searching for any training videos covering carpet cleaning techniques. I've tried BICSc, I've tried the NCCA but had no luck.

Anyone any ideas?

regards

Stuart

Ive seen some in the Prochem cat.

Not sure if college use would be allowed .

Ive seen videos from Dry Fusion and from One Step. Dry Fusion is a unique system, so the video is only applicable to that system. One Step can be used with most cleaning systems so may be of more general use.
Safe and happy cleaning:)

how about doing some practice demos and filming them. I sure a local cleaner would not mind helping out, if not give me a call 07984 950411 and we can work something out

I resurrected this from a 2004 topic, as I thought there might be some more up to date info' available.

oops,

are you interested in this then? would you be interested in making this type of information products? one idea that i have for another project that i can talk about as it would upset the landlord is a Guerrilla type videos of carpet cleaners. it would fit nicely with this as it could be done at the same time.

I plan to buy a HD video camera soon.

Ian.

There is no harm in doing your own.

As I understood it Mike is just concerned  if we started having Video You Tube links on here.

Plus not sure on copyright issues as has been said before you draw your ideas from JP

I do not want to start a debate but I did receive a letter a few years ago for sharing a piece of information..

And I am was nowhere as blatant as you or others. I am still deeply hurt.

credit where its due, JP paid Dan Kennedy to write his stuff that's why It always looks like it connected to JP which its in one way, but its direct response that Dan teaches and if you look else where in The US market and over here you will his influence.

JP is a very cleaver man.

What i now what to do is move things on. and Guerrilla marketing is more suited to the UK market. here demand is not as high as the USA and marketing budgets need to spent wisely. spend $ on marketing in the USA and you will get a much higher return. because the market is more advanced than here. our time will come, but not without some work on our part.

I have some great ideas on this video issue but would get myself in trouble talking about them here so if you are interested give me a call.

I noticed on the Guerrilla site you can terain to become an authorised Guru and collect these high daily fees.

Perhaps thats the route you should take Ian.  I know from you have a passion and fthirst for marketing ideas.

I will try to give you a ring latter in the week.

I make my money from cleaning. not from information that should always be free
