Just running my RO system for the first time.
Have I got the balance right between waste water and pure into tank?64% pure. 36% waste.
IT took 1min 22sec to produce a litre of waste water. And 47 secs to produce 1ltr of pure water to tank.
I live in a soft water area. TDS reading tonight from the tap 97.

It sounds ok its fool proof really the RO membrane does it all. My tds is 50 I leave mine dripping away into the holding tank all night or so.

Thats a really good ratio of waste to pure Nel.
What is your RO getting your TDS down to? I take it you are using a DI vessel for a final polish.
Bet ya cant wait to get up and at em with ur new System Nel :)

What R/O system have you got?
That's the highest ratio of waste-pure I have seen, the best is usually 50-50. my own is 33% pure 66% waste.
So well done!

i run all my r/o at a 75-80% keep to 20-25 rejection we take it down to about 003-012 depends on where our customers are from they all produce between 4-5.5 liters of pure a minute and it does not matter how high reading you have the only diffeence will be the increase on the tds of the pure but only marginly,
and my suppliers say thats acceptable for the r/o we use
