I've got a Columbus Dixon 19" with porcupine drive plate, hard floor brush and shampoo brush. It's gear driven - an absolute shire horse. Forward and reverse gears so the brushes last longer. Good working order. needs small spring for the operator height adjustable handle or bodge something together. Make me an offer. Croydon area.

I've got 5 'buffers' for sale all in good to excellent condition, if you are interested i can send photos

they come with drive plates and 1 has a vacuum unit fitted

 
I bought them as a job lot with some other cleaning equipment but they are no use to me.

pick them up from east yorks ( 140miles from you)and  I'll give you a good deal
