evening all!
this is just some thing ive been thinking about lately
ive had a van mount since i started as i didnt like the idea of carting round endless barrels of water
so it was a no brainer for me.
till i realised that some jobs ive got i could do alot faster if i got a trolley. so i picked up a secound hand omni trolley 50L (thank you simon ;)) and started to take it out as and when needed.
but now i have found im using it more and more, so have been timing myself (on domestic) and i knockin al most an hour of every day! not fighting with hoses. plant pots pin curbs. solar lights (ireally do hate these) finding a suitable place to park cant be a really pain in some areas i work in.
i love this trolley :-* all i do is fill it up from my tank and just put both pumps on flat out and it takes under 5 mins (giving me time to check emails and twitter) ::)
when i bought it i thought i would only be usefull for 5% of work now im thinking that the hose will only be good for the same amount.
may be its just a honey moon period..
any one else found this???

its the draggin hoses all over the show that gets me

Hi Colin, thanks for the mention ;)...Wait until you get a 125lt trolley then youll be drooling, less fill ups(1.5-2hrs per fill), built in hose reel they're the business(I use 3 of 'em :))

HOW ON EARTH DO YOU MOVE IT? ARE THE WHEELS MOTORISED?

it was when i seen your 125L trolleys that it got me thinking. i wouldnt mind one of thoose but i think i may have a little trouble lifting a full one on me own, but if there was a couple of ye this would be the way for me for compact domestic work

we use 50 l brodex one ideal for very compact work and terraced houses

I've bought all 3 of them second hand, expect to pay £300-£400 for one in good condition.
They cost over a grand new for the omnitrolley 125(better of the 2 machines) and a bit less for the one from WCW.

It aint that hard(unless you have to go up a hill), the trolleys have 2 inflateable wheelbarrow tyres on!
Getting the trolleys into the on your own is interesting though...

Some work is defo easier with a trolley but I would get a bigger pump to transfer the water quicker I use a 17l a min flojet

12 volt Submersible bilge pumps are better, and cost peanuts off ebay £15+
add 10m transfer pipe from screwfix £15, half the prive of cleaning spot

Just make sure you get the pumpwith the Od (outside diameter) that matches the ID(inside diameter) of the pipe.

definitely van mount for me.how can pushing a trolley about,refilling etc be any quicker than turning pump on,grabbing pole and reeling out to the furthest point and starting cleaning?
each to there own but for me its van mount for ALL my work.i worked for a year with just a trolley so i know what i prefer!! ;) ;D ;D ;D
