Title: DI before or after hotwash
Post by: Scott Dean on February 22, 2012, 05:23:34 pm
hey guys, wanna put my 11 ltr di on my system to 100% be sure that my ppm is down.

will it kill the resin if i put it in after the hotwash or should i put it in between the pump and the hotwash??

i have noticed that the heating of the hot water lifts it by 1 or 2 ppm...

Before the hotwash,.. otherwise you have to heat 11ltrs AND your hose reel before you get hot at the brush - it could be 10 mins before you're cleaning with hot.

The tds meters we use aren't very accurate and are affected by heat. Hot water gives a false high reading, don't worry about it, its fine!
