Title: Help please-fogwash to reel connectors
Post by: Total shine cleaning services on February 22, 2012, 08:54:28 am
Hi guys

Have had fogwash for some time now,but can only run it Luke warm as hose not upto it, I will be placing an order for thermobore soon-only problem is how to strengthen the weak link which is the section of hose from fogwash to the reel, I have a brass hozelock male connector on the fogwash as it kept blowing off the plastic ones so that sorted now, the hoze gets really supple when warm and when I reel in and out it twists round on itself and kinks,I think someone on a post said that they use the red washing machine hose but it's how to screw on to a free spinning reel, is there a connector I could use on the reel that I could tighten the washing machine hose to..?
As always any help is greatly appreciated

Graham

you need to replace the connector on the reel to a elbow connector and it wont twist

you can connect the washing machine hose to a hozelock by cutting off the plastic end. its a tight fit but heating it up will force it on.
