so how many have we all picked up since the start of 2012,im keeping a record so can see how many i pick up through the year
january i picked 5 up not bad i thought 3 were from business cards i posted in november,but only 2 this month and dropped 3 grudge cleans and lost 1 house,problem with alot of my work is its compact so can go a couple of weeks on the same estate,not that i need anymore work but its always good to take work on at better rates

I also keep detailed records of this. so far this year 33 with no marketing of any kind. still coming in from last years leaflets which stoped in october. Also a few picked up by my team on the job. last week one of my guys picked up all 5 houses in a close as they were unhappy with their current cleaner.
our leaflet campaign for the year starts this sunday and after a couple of weeks in im hoping we will be up to 30 new houses or more a week.

6 at mo. But I have picked up another 4 but there just for gutters not windows.
I have not tried to get any so happy with that.
To be honest the next couple of months is always good for new clients with the weather turning etc

I've picked up and cleaned 50 new ones since the beginning of January, through canvassing and referrals, plus another 3 which I will be cleaning for the first time this week. :)

Wanted to canvass heavily for the first three months but only managed two afternoons at an hour a time
Still, picked up 18 in Jan and 8 so far this month, most of which have come via recommendation and being seen.
Still getting some messers though(not this time every other month and slow payers). This year I aim to be more brutal in dropping messers

I haven't kept a record - but yesterday I had four new ones - all £10-£13 ex council stuff - three "worthy" older type who think I'm a bit expensive and a young married mum but as three of them are every 8 weeks (at my suggestion) they went for it.
At an estimate I reckon about ten new ones including the above - but I have lost four too - I have had one go into a home and its obvious the family aren't fussed about me continuing as I have it still outstanding from December; another one has died and one "is moving so leave me now" and one has had her "hubby lose his job" so is on hold.
But deffo up on total value.

same here really, as we are pretty much on the same streets and cul de sacs as always, if people are home and want a cleaner they have already seen us around loads of times. so we just get the odd one who is on holiday and happens to see us, sometimes i try to change our work days and routes round a bit to be more likely to catch different people who might see us who normally would be out at work....
Got a nice few from people seeing us or word of mouth, maybe about 7 or 8. better than the months leading up to xmas, that went very quiet.

Hi, we have had a good start to the year and a mild winter has helped so far!
68 as of today and good quotes in at 4 decent size care homes( fingers crossed)
All mainly through old fashioned knocking -our target was 80 by end of march so on track ;D

Picked up three more today!
1 small commercial (£25) - every month - came up to us
1 30's semi with bays - £13.00 - every month - canvassed
1 1st floor flat - every other month - £10 - came up to us
Plus on a promise for another small commercial (£20) tomoz - checking with his manager.

45 so far this year (are we 37 working days into the year?).
Not bad at all for January/February. The pace is picking up as well after a slow start.
One already in for today, an email booking to deal with and two calls back for this evening, so should be four today alone... Lovely!

Only 2 so far but I must be optimistic, I have 10,000 flyers so I will get them posted asap.
I am going knocking this Saturday.....
So hope I will achieve my goal of 100 new custys by august.
