Hi Dave
Have you thought about meeting at Windex October
Plenty of preperation time
Two good reasons for going
Bryan
-
Perhaps stage it at some large hotel with plenty of parking - for vans, and those that have travelled far can book in for the night.
I yhink we would be up for it
-
i would be up for it as long as its not too far..............................
-

the way you travel around the country you could pick us all up ;D

I think Poole would make a nice spot

Trouble is we could of organised to meet at Windex, but it got cancelled, where would be then ?
Left without a venue.
Personally, i think abandoning the FWC only show, was a big mistake, its not all about the profit etc, these things can be done cheap.
It should be window cleaners first, suppliers second, after all its OUR trade, not the suppliers.
but alas, you have let them all pull the strings as usual.
-
We can all meet up in Franks house
-
Birmingham is middleish isnt it but i would prefer london then we could all go out get drunk and go strippers joint lol
-
Get some where with a boxing ring iam sure we would have some good bouts :-*

-
the gaffs big enough your all welcome except trippy ;D
-
Sounds like a laugh.
I'm in

Dave
The FWC never made any profit with trade shows always in the red
My opinion is windex is better and do not think it will be postponed second time
It might be better having late in year?more money to spend
Gardeniers might even exibit ,would love to see them at windex
I bet if he hired ten big lorries and filled them up with his equipment there would be nothing to bring home?
I will have to admit, been using gardeniers poles for QCF training impact 43
Will be investing in the futer when my poles have gone
Mabye go camping for the weekend in the midlands
Tents / caravans welcome do not need big commercial site
Bryan

With all those nice shiny vans with lots of luvvly WFP equpment will there be security on site ??

And if Gardiners did go, the other exhibitors might not bother!! :D

I like the camping idea cheap option and more money to spend on beer and food
-
Yep I'd be up for that Dave....
I think its good, putting a face to the name your one of the only guys ive met..
-
hi smudgeoff
Have I met you ?
-
Yes Dave, me and the wife holiday in Cornwall and we went out for a great meal and drink. Then 6 months later at the NEC
Darren
-
Haha
It's the smudging that threw me, how's it going ?
-
Camping west of Birmingham - Shropshire? By the banks of the Severn (Warmer my side of course!)
-
Not to bad thanks Dave!
-
Please keep the ideas coming
-
Isn't there a showground at Newark where they have huge caravan rallies-probably equipped for anyone needing electric hook up for caravans, motorhomes(or like me in our mahoosive tent!! ;D) they would probably have a bar, toilet facilities for large numbers , hard standing for vehicles : probably more details thru camping/caravan club?and it's fairly central too

Hi All
I have a large yard in watford, pub in walking distance, nice area of grass for people wanting to camp, few local B&B's and Hotels, Premier Inn Kings Langley.
We could have a summer BBQ for any interested, 5mins from junction 20 of the M25 and 5 mins from junction 8 of M1
If people where prepaired to pay a small fee could cover a toilet and shower trailer for ones camping and then the food for the BBQ
Sure we could get some suppliers to get involved and help with covering costs
Let me know what you think, could not do last two weeks in July or first two in August as away.

dont bother with the toilets we will all sh-t all over your yard and grass then you can take pictures of the before and after of the clean up you have to carry out we promise not to charge if you use these pictures for future advertising ;D ;D ;D Seriously that sounds quite a good idea as long as we dont let Tosh do any of the BBQing or the consequences may be beyond any clean up operations
