Title: agitation

doing a large empty dining room at my golf club,i normally use powerburst and rake in,
i dont normally use my 17 inch rotary,but  thinking of using to agitate .
what do i put on it a scrubbing brush or do i use a pad (if so what colour)
after agitation i will extract with my tmount
what dyer think???

A shampoo brush would be alright, if using a pad do not go any coarser than a brown one..

a shampoo brush would be too soft, I prefer a poly scrub brush ( broken in on a concrete driveway if new)

I used a rotary to agitate for years before i bought a CRB machine

Same as Mike, except I haven't bought a CRB machine yet :D

I think it depends on the carpet as well.  A bonnet might actually give better agitation if it was a thick wool pile, so I'd have both on hand and test :)

ITs an 80 20 mix with a decent pile
will my scrub brush be too harsh,i think it might

If it isn't trashed I would skip the brush in that case, but a bonnet may well be the answer?
