Can i have your views on removing paint from glass please?Chemicals and techniques??

Gaz, thanks for the reply any particular scrapper ? At the moment we use the ones from b&q with the stanley blade

I use the SYR Triumph,iv`e had it for years highly reccomended,fits on pole so great for reaching

hi there,

the unger scrapers are very good, we use them all the time, plenty of water aswell, job done.

hi

we use them on everything,glass, tiles, worktops,doors, sanitary ware.

its all about how you use them, and the angle of the blade.

like anything, in the wrong hands, then countless damage!!!!

obviously fresh emulsion paint, will break down anyway.

Hi

One word of caution when using the scrapers...

Make sure you scrape & wipe seperatley otherwise the two hands might meet and you could take a part of your thumb off!

Obviously done it myself (went strangely pale :o)

Hi,

I use wd40, spray on and leave for one minute, then use a scrapper but becafe you don't scratch the glass!!!
