Title: putting bank transfer details on slips

do any of you lads do it? im wondering if there is any risk by just putting my account number and sortcode on all  my slips ??
.  in recent months iv stopped all weekend collecting and put on my slips to post me a cheque and thats worked great already

Yes. I do that. And details can be found on my site. Even rung bank to make sure I would be safe and not held liable for any fraudulant activity. They said that this was fine. More and more customers pay me this way, those who don't, I have been trying to set up standing orders!

people can only access your account if they have the password/s i would now say 60% of my customers pay this way but i am pushing more to go on to standing orders

Yep-we do,all our tickets are pre printed with it on and has the office number,email etc too .
It's easier for customers and means we Never go collecting

I've been thinking about this for a while now as well - get a lot of PayPal payments so they shouldn't find it difficult to switch

You are only giving out the same information that is printed on every cheque you write so no problem.
