Just wondering if anyone has got some photo's of their D.I.Y. set ups in the back of their vans that they can post on here for me to look at? I've just spent ages trawling through my previous posts to find the ones a few people posted before Christmas for me but I can't find them.

James, who done that to the back of your van bro? I'll go and give them a kicking for you if you want. ;D
Seriously though that photo's really helped me out ;)
-
In my old van i had ratchet straps hold the tank,
I had 2 straps over the top going to the mounting points & another going through the central baffle hole attached to angle iron sections on either side which was bolted through the floor
-
I'm gonna go with James idea and cross rachet straps across the top of my tank. Then when I've got the dough I'll probably get it fitted with a stainless steel frame.
-
Will pop out tomorrow and get some shots of mine for you.

Its not the neatest of systems I must admit, but it worked :)
...oh, and it was free so not complainig! ;D
-
Thanks bud, What system you got by the way?

The system looks fine by the way. I built a lot worse, trust me. I was just on about all the hose and cloths but to be fair my sheds like that!

There was no room for anything so all scrims, work fleeces, etc just got chucked anywhere. :)
As for the hose... this system was orginally in a tralior so I guess its not designed to look neat. Ive since taken it out and debating getting it back up and running in the trailor. Only thing is, I havent a clue what im doing. ;D A friend done it for me, who had now moved away so cant ask him again ;)
-
I'd just put it back in you van. All you have to do is the reverse of taking it out :P
As long as you have no spare parts you should be fine ;D

Surely they are not baffled tanks look like water tanks somebody would put in their loft for hot water system
-
No they are not baffled, they are either 125l or 175l tanks I used to have a 175l tank.
Most WFP suppliers sell them.
-
They are 125ltr ;)

Thanks mate,
Your system looks boss, think mines gonna look poop by comparison.

Thanks Mucker,
just tried to keep it simple, needs tidying up, paint box etc but works a treat and great for both jobs, disco's and windows.
Carpet on walls and box helps with soundproofing and insulation in winter.
Call me any time if I can help
