Title: Speedliner
Post by: Dave Roelants on February 15, 2012, 08:56:30 pm

I should have had this done when the van was new but I emptied my van on Monday in readiness for this to be done. I was very apprehensive what was happening under the astro turf. The standard Mercedes floor lining was intact(a tribute to it's quality-it's very heavy) but moisture was trapped underneath and you could just rub the paint off. There was some rust ,mostly around where holes had been drilled for the tanks.

The thing about any coating whether it be speedline, line x or whatever is in the preparation but fortunately I've found a real professional in Bolton. He's spent 2 days preparing, sealing all the edges and completely masking off the vehicle before coating it today on day 3.
I have some pics but can't seem to upload them for some reason
