Title: 1 brush for all window types or one for each type?
Post by: clearviewwc on February 14, 2012, 08:12:19 pm
Just wondering what brushes people use. A one for all brush that you use on everything, plain glass, georgian, leaded, wooden framed ( I have a good mix of all types as I mostly work in small villages)? Or a different brush for each?
I've just switched over to wfp but am on a tight budget after getting van etc. I've got an slx 22 with the The Super-Lite Radius-Sill Brush Dual-Trim Medium Bristles (White). Will this be suitable for all window types or should I be looking at another couple of brushes.
I don't know much about brushes obviously and I know these brushes are well recommended but my first impression is 'where are all the bristles!'. I would have thought that the more bristles there is the better it would be getting into ridges, better coverage, better cleaning etc. But there again, as a newbie, what do I know!  ???

I use a white extreme for most windows,
But i like to use the black extreme for old sash windows, as the bristles are softer and dont damage delicate paint work

Bespoke Black Xtremes with 10mm of length removed from each row of bristles, for everything! ;)
