Does the hose get traffic over it? Is it the standard hose or thermabore? Would the thermabore be a better idea?

I currently use pure freedom hose to my pole hose and it's been fine for the last year. I have had hot since November and with regular traffic over the hose, still no issues. Biggest problem I've had is with the pf hose reel braking up

In sure Alex will get you sorted

I also use the purefreedom 100m and I've had mine for 15mths with high volumes of traffic, excellent quality.

I've got 2 100m rolls which are 18 months old which came from the cleaning warehouse, they have lasted well, I've just turned them on the reel so hopefully I will get another 18 months out of them

I had to change a length of Gardiners microbore recently it was 3 months old we unfortunatley sliced it lengthways (about 30ft of it)  it must have got cut on a corner of a building by a small flint or something similar but just as dissapointing and as i said only 3 months old ... bit gutted, the lad that did it was really sorry too but not really his fault just one of those things  :( :(

On the other hand- I've had Gardiners minibore for about 9 months now, it's been driven over by everything, used with hot & cold water & it's just fine! ;D ;D

Its a dodgy batch.

Had same problem last year with another co. kicked up a right stink about replacing it.  Bubbled in about 20 spots from day 1. Stuffed up a good days work as I gave my old hose to a mate that day. Apparently this had never been heard of before and I had to email pics or buy another >:( Yeah? well bonjour to you to mate. ;) Im going to Gardiners for my gear now.

Defo the hose mate. Try not to stress.

BVC.

its frustrating thats for sure.it gets driven over on a daily basis.its unavoidable really.

One of my reels has 8mm from Gardiners which is 3 years old and has been well abused. Never had a problem with it, use hot through it too.

Good tip!!  Why is this the first time I've heard of it here?  >:(

We used to do the same with boot laces in the army, in the 1980s, when things were tight!  ;D
