I use lay flat delivery hose, you can get it off eBay. To connect it to my sub pump I just used a zip tie. The only thing is it does stink I bit when you first get it , so I store it in a plastic bin in shed.

What do you do with the water thats left in the hose? do you keep the hose connected to sub pump and put that in shed too?

I use a 1" tricoflex hose because it's flexible enough to roll up but superstrong. I got 3x 5m section that clip together means I can drain the water after transferring water so they don't get iced up and they don't go brittle like other transfer hoses

When I've filled my tank in the van, I stop the pump and disconnect the hose ( it's connected to the plastic threaded elbow using a zip tie ) I then under run the hose and empty what's left into a 25 lt container

Got some from purefreedom recently. They've changed to a very soft rubber like hose and it's great. Mine sits near the garage door and the cold hasn't affected it one bit.
